How do you live with sadness?

Drippy The Rain Cloud becomes sad when she realizes people aren’t excited to see her rain drops. She is tempted to just move on and avoid sadness altogether, or to wallow in it. But when Drippy witnesses a farmer’s sorrow from her vantage point over his field, she begins to express her own, and learns that sadness can actually create conditions for joy to grow.

GWYn, Our Dreamer

Gwyn is a fun-loving, 11-year old author who wrote and published the tale of Drippy as her Make-A-Wish® wish. Bringing this story to life with her cousin Gina as illustrator has been a healing journey for Gwyn and her whole family, as they face her brain cancer together. We all have stories of grief and loss to tell, and Gwyn’s tale of Drippy The Sad Rain Cloud invites us to enlarge our souls in the process.

“My dad would always read us stories and that would bring me a lot of joy. And so I wanted to bring others the joy of having good stories read to them.”

— Gwyn, 11, author of Drippy: The Tale of the Sad Rain Cloud
